Saka wields a blade similar to an O'Katana and a claymore. The blade while not wide and heavy like that of a claymore, it is not light like a regular katana and requires at some times two hands to deliver full powered strikes. The blade while katana shaped is heavier to allow better armor penetration then a light blade when making contact against heavy armor plate. However, due to its narrow profile it is still able to slip into gaps between armor plates and pierce an enemy.

The guard is a cross between a claymore post guard and a katana type. Two sturdy post extend out from the tang of the blade on top of which the plate guard style of a katana is mounted. The plate is larger than average to maintain visual balance against the two posts and the long blade. The inside of guard is shaped into the form of a hissing viper with its fangs barred.

The hilt of Saka's blade is rather simple compared to the blade and guards. Simple red cotton wrapping starting at the guard runs the length of hilt to the ring pommel (end of the hilt). Dangling from the pommel are four red silk ribbons each at about 1 foot in length.
